Ayahuasca calls shame the most destructive emotion there is, because it’s based on a lie that we’ve done something wrong. Whatever we have done, whatever choices we have made, they came from the best place we had available in that moment. To be shameful of any part of ourselves is to be in a prison of suffering. When shame is illuminated, named, and honored with compassion, it melts to reveal the joy of our authenticity. Shame is not a problem to be fixed, it is an experience to be honored. What shame deeply longs for is acceptance. That must be experienced in community.
Let’s come together as a tribe in a safe, vulnerable container and feel, process, share, befriend, and honor our beautiful, wise, yet painful elements of shame. Shamanic coach and integration expert Natalhie Ruiz will lead a community of open-hearted people across the globe in a virtual Shame Illumination Workshop. We will work with the element of Earth to support the stability and courage we need to name these hidden, cast out parts of ourselves. We will compassionately bear witness to the courageous admissions from our fellow light warriors, reflecting back acceptance and understanding. And we will each stand in the light of truth to name, befriend, and integrate the shadow of our guilt and shame.
The Ritual will include opportunities to speak, emote, write, and meditate on the intelligence and power of our personal and collective shadow. Natalhie will create a ritualistic container using ancient shamanic practices honoring these untamed emotions, creating safety for all who gather to vulnerably move through some of the stuck energies in our bodies and beings.

About Natalhie Ruiz
Natalhie is an integration coach and plant medicine guide deeply devoted to guiding others on their journey to heal. Her Peruvian indigenous ancestry carries a lineage of curanderas from the Wari/Quechua people of the Peruvian Andes and connects to their wisdom to guide her sessions. She has a strong personal relationship with sacred plant medicines. Her knowledge and expertise in plant medicine have grown over the last several years, and she has had the honor of studying under the Cocamilla tradition in Peru. She has a deep relationship with Grandmother Ayahuasca, Rapéh, Mapacho, Psilocybin, and other Master Plants. She specializes in all plant medicine preparation and integration and supports those with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, sexual trauma, and more.
